Will My Dog Die From An Enlarged Heart

Stockholm - Sunday and Monday

The next day we took the Tunnelbana - this is the subway again to Gamla Stan and then by ferry to the eastern island of Djurgarden. There is a large amusement park and an animal park including open-air museum, Gamla Linköping similar but much larger and more versatile. This park called Skansen. Since one can easily spend half a day. It has a beautiful view from then to the center of Stockholm. Many old buildings are here, can go inside the man. There are then often employees with costumes who tell stories of how life used to be and what is their work ... Really very nicely done and very interesting. And then there are all sorts of animals. In addition to bears, Wolves, moose and reindeer, can not be typical for Scandinavia animals found there. After the visit to Skansen
we walked a few feet to get to Djurgarden in the Vasa Museum. Here you will find one of the oldest sailing ships in the world. The Vasa sank on its maiden voyage in 1628 because it was subject to bad planning. The museum is really highly recommended and a must see when visiting Stockholm. You get a very good idea of the time and learn everything about the Vasa, whose occupation, destruction and recovery.
When we finished the tour were developed, we joined for a sightseeing tour by boat. As it was already something dawned we were able to Stockholm in the sunset from the water assessment and saw the lights gradually came on in the city. Stockholm is also called the Venice of the North and I am really very impressed by Stockholm. I put it there very much.
After the boat ride we then make a short home too fresh for us. I then to Christiane for pizza on the island of Södermalm. From there we made a walk after dinner on Langholmen to Kungsholmen and back again.
On Monday we actually wanted the seat of the royal family to Drottningsholmen. However, it was us just as we do not Christiane's flight and would miss our bus in the evening. We went to Stadshuset. The large Brick building located on the waterfront and is very impressive. It has many large rooms and a high tower. In the Blue Room takes place every d as banquet for Nobel awards ceremony. The city council here in Stadshuset its conference room.
Under the leadership of the Stadshuset shopping then we in the Drottningsgatan for a bit. On the whole I liked it
in Stockholm very well, I believe I am even a little in love with the city. She has so many sides and facets. A lot of culture and nature. If you have the chance again to look at Stockholm should not miss these. 3 days, one should invest at least. However, one must necessarily look at a hotel early.
New pictures are at Picasa online again ...
