The 2 Weekend in October, Saturday 10.10.09 to Montag12.10.09 we were in Chapman State Park for a family camping Weekend. Deanna has organized everything, our accommodation was a Yurt (Mongolian tent, find it at Wikipedia.de), it has zuessen prepared for a whole week and shopped and packed everything for camping. Deanna, Katherine and Corbin (Katherine's boyfriend) are driven up on Saturday morning to all there to judge and to prepare for a great weekend together. When Elizabeth came home from work are Floyd, Elizabeth and I met with the truck and canoe.
We had a cozy weekend with a lot of fun rides with good card games in the evening and a short walk or canoe on the lake. On Sunday we are on a small apple festival went close by and were well entertained by the there kompetierenden Luber Jacks, see photos and video.
Monday came very quickly and we had to leave again for a beautiful autumn weekend. Columbus has its own public holiday here in the U.S., and this year it was Monday the 12th October, for a long weekend and we all accounts get the day off. Many holidays are here on certain days, so it is not always the same date every year. This is a little getting used to, especially because most have to work as well as so and more or less only State employees have free. Anyone who reads this might
