Regional Saturday 24. April 
The last days were bitter cold and I was very excited to see how many die-hards would arrive in for now for security training, but my timidity was refuted impressive: Seventeen participants of the Kiel Canoe Club, the ETV, the Canoe Association of Kiel and the salt water-Union gathered as usual, more or less time at nine clock in front of our boathouse.
The theoretical part of the lawn is unbearable to some extent, because the sun shines on us mercy. This is a good argument to stress the importance to take on any trip sunscreen and sunglasses. An all around nice event as a security training: you meet nice people, paddling with them on and under the water and can end the day comfortably in sociability. Such events, I love you!
It must again be Ahr and so we start at 12.00 clock in early summer weather direction Dernau and Mayschoß . As always, we hold the first view point above Dernau. After strengthening in Jägerstübchen in Mayschoß, part Laach, we take following involuntary watering in the Ahr near the hostel of Altenahr after the driest yet a short walk on the red trail at computing. Shortly before the return journey we stop in the Bunte Kuh . At 21:30 clock, we are at home again. Even this short trip to the Ahr has paid off, as always!
